I’m MorganLighter. Some of you may know me, most of you probably don’t. That’s okay. My hope is that, one day, we will all become friends and make this world a better place.

Hi Morgan and thanks for your comment about our blog regarding Sociolinguistics.
Hope you had the time to read our other posts. If not, please come back soon!
Oh, yes, we share your hope for this world becoming a better place.

Hi Morgan,
Thank you for posting the AP story on screening for MRSA. If every hospital in the US does not screen high risk patietns upon admission for MRSA, we will not eradicate this pathogen. That is my goal, through state and federal legislation, is to have mandated screening for MRSA legislation passed. Most hospitals will not voluntary do it. We have had 30 years of a failed approach ( hand hygiene) that got us to this place, a MRSA epidemic. The CDC’s inaction has caused this.

Jeanine Thomas,
Thank you for your comment. I’m getting to you comment a bit late as you placed in the the section “about me” and I rarely go there as I know all about me. HA-HA.
Isn’t it criminal that care givers are so lax in their hygiene – one would think that they’d being the ones to set the standards for cleanliness.
And now you know why I don’t go to hospitals.
Keep up the good fight – you should be sainted.
More a query than a comment Morgan…
I develop content for publications produced by ICAO (the UN aviation regulator). I was wondering if you would agree to having your piece on airport security (Feb. 2008) reproduced in The ICAO Journal (magazine that goes out to civil aviation types in 190 countries).
The UN doesn’t pay for content but we’d obviously provide full credit and help establish your prestige in this area to a global (albeit bureaucratic) market.
Let me know if this might be of interest,
AP

Hey Morgan, surfing the morning and noticed your new look. Looks great! Thanks for polishing up Connie’s story and broadcasting it again. If you haven’t seen it (and hopefully I sent it to your right address) I mailed you an idea starter (was kind of tired when I wrote it).
Thanks again,

Got bumped off the internet, so you may have recieved an unfinished e-mail. Let me repeat myself. Thank you for the excellent article on Welfare reform. I often wondered how much money the goverment would save from abolishing Welfare. Welfare today is not what the welfare of the 1930’s was all about. It’s a terrible shame for this country, the greatest country in the world, to have a nation full of people who cheat the system. You think by now, that People would want to contribute to society instead of taking from it. Make the world a better place. Welfare today for people is like a disease. Yes, I do understand that some people need help, but not to milk it for so long.
If this country is to ever prosper again, wouldn’t be better if people would work and contribute into it again.
Thank You
Connie – Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. You’re correct when you said welfare today is not like was supposed to be. Damn. And Social Security was never, never, never meant as a retirement account. As an aside – now that we’ve had another stimulus package introduced, are going to give $900,000,000 to Palestine (and it was increased, recently by another $1,000,000) so that their college bound citizens can be educated in our country! Haven’t heard of a program like that for legal American children – how’s that for another slap in the face. Just a short fact regarding education – here in California, legal and illegal aliens can go to college for free, in addition to have free medical care, no limit on food stamps, housing allowance, having babies born (though their here illegally) for no cost and once they’re born, they automatically become 100% bona fide, legal American citizens!
I found morganwrites.wordpress.com very informative. The article is professionally written and I feel like the author knows the subject very well. morganwrites.wordpress.com keep it that way.
